Fourth of July Recipes: A Bowl of Cherries!

July 3, 2009 at 7:17 AM by Cafe Kim - Comments (3)

The Fourth of July always makes me think of ripe, juicy cherries! They're such a gorgeously vivid red color now that they're in season. I'm showing off the Cherry Upside-Down Cake I made. In the meantime, here are some yummy cherry treats from around the Web...Happy Fourth of July!

Cherry pie, how lovely.

Homey cherry brown butter bars.

Bakewell tart with thyme-infused cherry preserve—perfect for a tea party.

Eat healthy: Cherry vanilla granola.

Why didn't I think of this? No cherry pitter...use a pastry tip.

Wake up with cherry coffee cake.

Sweet cherry cobbler wouldn't last a second around me.

Classic cherry clafouti.

Do you prefer sweet or tart cherries? Do have a favorite cherry recipe?
