Fried Food at the State Fair of Texas

Oprah.com's got a heart attack-inducing round-up of the fried food finalists in the Big Tex Choice Awards at this year's State Fair of Texas.
Corny dogs and funnel cakes are expected, of course, but Fried Butter and Fried Coke? Unprecedented! Then again is there anything that can't be fried?
Here are some of the fried foods served at the 2009 State Fair of Texas:
- Corny dog
- Fried butter
- Fried peanut butter, jelly, and banana
- Deep-fried peaches and cream
- Fried grilled cheese
- Chicken-fried bacon
- Fried Coke (actually Coca-Cola-flavored batter that is deep-fried, covered in pure Coca-Cola fountain syrup, and topped with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a cherry)
- Fried guacamole
Which of these fried foods sound the best? The worst? (I'm utterly intrigued yet disgusted by the fried guacamole.)

I like fried turkey but anything else just sounds nasty to me. Fried butter? I live in Texas and can do without it thank you.
Gotta love Texas. That sounds disgusting.
Okay, that all just sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen. Corn dogs are good but fried coke and butter???? That's just nasty.
We haven't been to a fair in years, but I always had a soft spot for the funnel cakes when we do get to go.
*sigh* i was upset that we couldn't afford to go this year. it sounds disgusting to some of you but I think that list sounds yummy!

fried guac does not sound good tho lol
All I have to say is www.thisiswhyyourefat.com is the only reason I'd even heard of some of these foods. LOL.

YUCK... apparently Oprah tried the fried butter when she was there. I've had a deep fried twinkie and deep fried Oreos in Vegas... they amde me sick but they were good! LOL
