I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year. It will be the first time I cook dinner with all the fixings for a big crowd. *Gulp.* I've got the turkey under control. But the one food that's stressing me out? The stuffing!
Help!

My stomach is growling for these Pizza Bites (from For the Love of Cooking)—pillowy balls of pizza dough filled with cheese and pepperoni with a side of pizza sauce. Yum!

The following is a guest post by Ideal Bite's Mama Bite contributor Jennifer Orr. My girls love, crave, go nuts for junk food...basically anything with little or no nutritional value. To satisfy their cravings and my must-be-good-for-you standards, I've learned some tricks to turn their favorite fast food into a somewhat healthy dinner (and for healthier snacks, try these makeovers).

Happy One-Pot Wednesday!
We eat a lot of sweet potatoes in my house because they're high in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and fiber. Plus, yams taste great because they're naturally sweet! We'll be trying this easy recipe for one-pot Garlic Pot Roast and Sweet Potatoes from Betty Crocker. Just combine ingredients in the crock pot and leave it to cook all day.

My MIL made us yummy (but healthy!) Sweet and Sour Chicken Strips for dinner last night. It's a quick, little recipe that you can mix up the night before, marinade overnight, and then grill on skewers or broil in about 10 minutes. Serve with rice and a veggie, and you've got an easy meal! I've also included her recipe for Dipping Sauce—which is optional, but I find goes quite nicely with the strips.

We gave 10 CafeMoms enough Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers for one family meal. We also sent them Flip cameras so they could capture the experience on video. We're going to feature a video each Monday for the next four weeks. One lucky mom who posts a comment on any of these videos will win a $500 Crate and Barrel Gift Card!
Today's video is from Jillysmom. Watch the video and answer the question below to get entered to win.

My mom's sauce!
My mom doesn't have a lot of variety in what she cooks, but wow, what she does make tastes amazing.
My favorite meal is her pasta and meatballs. Her red sauce is a combination of what her mom used to make along with her own add-ins. And the meatballs -- incredible. One of the many benefits of being part Italian.

Mistibreuer1978 wrote a recent journal post about her Pumpkin Pie Chili. Some moms are saying "Ewwwww," but I think it sounds warm and delicious—and easy, too! It might be just the thing to serve to your little trick-or-treaters before they go out on Halloween night.

Kids love Mummy Dogs for Halloween, so why not Mummy Pizzas? These are made with pizza dough (I'd use English Muffins), sauce, string cheese, and black olives. Visit Kara's Kitchen Creations for the easy how-to.
