I've lost almost 70 lbs in a year counting calories. Yes it has been a tough road to go down, plateaus and frustration trying to get the best of me! There was even a whole month when I didn't lost an ounce! But I'm still here and still losing. I have about 15 pounds to go and I'm so excited. I've bought new clothes and have changed my hair and given myself rewards for losing each 10 pounds I lost. Like I got a manicure, massage, haircut, and the best thing is my Heart Rate Monitor I use when I walk and exercise to tell me how many calories I burn. I feel like a new person and this is all so worth it!!!
I have lost 32 lbs since having my daughter 4 months ago with the help of a new portion control product I am using. It is working great for me and I love it because it has no drugs or stimulants. I am even taking it while Nursing!

I am definitely working on losing weight, along with all my friends in the Why Weight group (http://www.cafemom.com/group/whyweight). My journey started about nine months before I got pregnant with my new baby, and I had about 100 pounds to lose. I am down over 55 pounds and counting, and I can't wait to see what life will feel like 100 pounds lighter. Even halfway to my goal is so much better than where I started!
I'll be very anxious to post my "After" pic when I reach my goal. I look at pictures of me and my family taken along the way so far, and I can already see so much difference it is astounding. The work is hard, and the time goes slowly, but it is all worth it to live a better, stronger, and healthier life!
