A mom meant to send the racy text to her husband at work, telling him she was in the mood and that he needed to come home right away. Her mom was the last person she had texted, so she sent it to her by mistake!
Another user actually texted a picture that was meant for hubby's eyes only.
One mom was texting her sister about a friend she was annoyed with. You can see where this is going ... she sent her rant to the friend in question by mistake!
OOOPS!
Many of us text more than we email these days, so it's no wonder you're hearing more stories of texters sending messages to the wrong person.
What's your worst texting story? Who got your message by mistake, and did it ruin your relationship with them?

I can't think of anything horrible that stands out, BUT... my old phone actually would combine two texts together... a portion of the one I was just trying to send and a portion of one that I sent weeks ago and that had been deleted from my outbox!! Fortunately I didn't have any *major* problems with that!
WOW - that would suck! I am inept at texting..."yes" takes me about 5 minutes...if I did text, I'm pretty sure I would do something like this - hahahaha
I have more problems with my email address book. I get jokes that are not so appropriate, and I foreward them to my sister, MIL, and SIL. Unfortunately, my MIL is sandwiched between my pastor and my corporate atty. I've had to apologize to both. LOL
I have sent racy texts to hubby once, though, and I must have got a digit wrong or something, because he never got them and they went through. Some random person might have had a little bit of confusion sitting in their inbox!
Once...I sent the ex a risque text on a Sat. night. Early the next morning I got one back asking why I was txting someone's hubby? I txted back explaining what happened...I'd gotten numbers reversed. I guess she understood because I never heard anything else from her. Still don't know who it was!
