Prescriptions Filled for Just $4

I didn't know anything about this...but my dad was telling me how I can get prescriptions filled generically for $4 at Walmart -- 90-day prescriptions are just $10. Target also offers the same inexpensive prescriptions, too.
I thought he read something wrong somewhere, but he didn't.
Did you know this or am I the last to know?
My prenatals cost me $50 each month! Though I don't think they are covered under the Walmart and Target plans. However many medicines are and that can sure help people save a lot of money.
Do you know about these cheap prescription plans? Do you get your prescriptions filled at Walmart or Target?

Yeah, I'm a pharmacy tech @ Walmart. The $4 list is actually a pain in the butt. It's good to save money, but doctors don't pay attention to strengths. Like Pravastatin (for cholosterol) 40mg is on the list so it's $4, the 80mg isn't on the list so it's like $20 or $30. People don't understand that, and get mad at us.
I wish my Singulair was one of them!!!!!
Marsh here in Indiana does free prenatals. I looked at the lists for walmart but it didn't cover any of our prescriptions.
several stores in this state do them but like other said not all meds are on the list. its been this wat for almost a year now.
The only problem I am finding now is that all my prescriptions say they do not have a generic form of the drug, even though one is listed on the pamphlet that is given to me when I pick up my meds. So it seems I am paying way more than I would have in the first place if I would have been able to buy the generic. I would say the last five or six things I had filled told me no generic available!
ive known about this for awhile. unfortunately both my medications dont have a generic.
I get my two blood presure pills at $4.00 a piece there and also my levothyroxin for my thyroid there too for $4.00. It has helped us save money. I know I wish my inhaler cost me that much I have to pay $30. for that one. I have been using our pharmacy a lot at Walmart since this last year.

Actually there is a Supermarket chain in Ohio ( and i think a few other states as well) called Giant Eagle. They do this as well as offer FREE (yes free) antibiotics. There is about a list of 10-15 antibiotics on the list.
Also they offer the 4 dollar scripts. (also at this store for every 50 bucks you spend you get 10 cents off your gasoline) That adds up when buying perscriptions, diapers and groceries at the same store!!!
