Here on CafeMom, we talk about abortion, but mostly just to say whether we agree with it or not. Rarely, does someone "TALK" about abortion...until now. Thanks to AquarianPath for being courageous enough to come forward with her story...

I'm not sure how or even why news outlets come up with this stuff, but according to several sources and studies, supposedly:
I don't know about you, but this news makes me...well...sad!

Some moms can't have more biological children no matter how much they'd like to. Emergency hysterectomies, infertility problems, premature menopause, or other medical issues have cut their family plans short.
Still, strangers and acquaintances inevitably ask, "So, are you going to have more kids?" Some are even presumptuous and judgemental. Without knowing any of the background, one woman at a baby shower told a childless guest with infertility issues, "You should have a baby. They are a blessing."
"When people ask me, my stomach and heart drop and my mouth gets dry," says one CafeMom in Marriage and Relationships who had a hysterectomy at 19. "I am still never prepared for the question. It literally feels like a shocking slap to the face. I usually say, 'I don't know,' because it would be awkward to say, 'I can't'. But I'm sick of feeling ashamed of it and I want to move on."
How other moms deal with this sad and difficult question:

There are lots of discussions around CafeMom about whether it's better to have a male or female OBGYN or professional treat you in matters of reproductive health and childbirth.
Here are just a few:
Many moms say they prefer midwives because of the more natural approach and because they can relate better to what they are going through. From the gist of these conversations, the midwives these moms are talking about are women.
So here's another question ... would you use a male midwife?

The Los Angeles Times recently reported that the recession may be leading to an increase in unintended pregnancies.
Why?

Thinking about, looking at and decoding vaginal discharge is so fun.
Kind of like running into the last guy who saw you naked--when you're with your new man, 8 months pregnant, and you have ketchup on your lip.
As we know, female anatomy is complicated.

I don't want to go into too much detail, but I'm 5'4", and my husband is 6'5". His height is great for reaching the pots I stack way up high on the ledge of the kitchen cabinets. For reaching other heights, sometimes there are challenges.
Here is a guide for getting it on when you and he are different shapes and sizes. Even if you and your man are an exact fit, you can still use these 5 sex positions for inspiration.

Ovarian cancer is most treatable when it is detected early.
A new study indicates that postmenopausal women who are screened for ovarian cancer using a transvaginal ultrasound or blood test are more likely to catch this devastating disease early. That means treatment could start before the cancer spreads to the pelvis, and a good outcome is more likely.

This is a female anatomy question for you.
At her concert in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday night, Britney Spears looked down at her costume and said, "My BLEEP is hanging out."
She really said that.
Would you ever call your female nether region that word like Britney Spears does here? I personally would not. I personally do not.
The only time I use that word is in reference to my cat.

Bountiful Junior High School
Update: My former babysitter and now very close friend went to this school. Her little brothers still attend. They say everyone is sad and totally shocked about this story.
Two Bountiful Junior High School teachers are accused of sexually assaulting the same 13-year-old student. Separately, the teachers exchanged sexual text messages, had phone sex and had sex with a child in Bountiful, Utah.
The teachers are Linda R. Nef, 46, a state history teacher and cheerleading adviser and Valynne Bowers, 39, a math teacher. Until recently, the two did not know about each other's relationship with the same boy.
Two junior high teachers had sex with the same student?
What a perverted love triangle. It's scary--and shocking--for such emotionally deranged women to be teachers in our public school system.
