Sure, there are those times when your partner initiates sex and you just don't feel like it. But many women complain about never wanting to have sex—despite being attracted to their partner. As it turns out, lack of sex drive in women may be more common than you think. Here are some common causes:

Wow, has it been one of those weeks. You know, the kind where you want to pull your own hair out, scream at the top of your lungs, and the littlest things set you off. Yeah, that's me...friends, you've been warned.
We all have stress in our lives, sometimes more so than others, so here are some "stressful" links I love:

Are you exhausted all the time? Do you have trouble concentrating or remembering important dates? Do you fall asleep while watching TV, while driving?
You could be overworked and overtired (what mom isn't?). Or you could be suffering from sleep apnea, a sleep disorder characterized by a disruption or pause in breathing. I asked Dr. Avi Ishaaya, an expert in sleep therapy, to give us the 411 on this serious disorder.

I often get so stressed and overwhelmed thinking of all the stuff I have to get done each day, that I try to break up the time with daily mini mind vacations. Usually I play Latte Land, one of the other CafeMom games or daydream about a good memory, but today I stumbled across another diversion that was way more fun than my mortgage bill.
BettyPP posted this fun mind game in the CafeMom Newcomer's Club:

Exercise. Take a bath. Meditate. Go to a spa. Have a glass of wine. I can't tell you how many times I've heard these tips given as ways to ease stress. But here's one I've never heard: Pat a rabbit.

I'm not talking about softball. Nef8eria asked the moms in Marriage and Relationships to take a good hard look at themselves and consider the family member, friend, ex, child, or co-worker they compete against the most in their lives.
"For me, it's my in-laws, particularly my sister-in-law and mother-in-law, as well as his nieces," Nef8eria says. "My husband always puts me in a position to feel bad if I'm not doing things the way they are doing them. So in order to keep him off my shoulders, I try to comply (rolling eyes)."

In a recent discussion on the pros and cons of joint or separate bank accounts with SOs in The Newcomer's Club, Leener3 reminded the group that, "Money is the numer one ongoing argument among married couples surveyed about the causes of fights in their relationship."
Making enough money to pay all the bills and meet your standard of living is one part of that. But another is whether you and your spouse have the same philosophy when it comes to spending your hard-earned cash.
Leener3 tells of the undoing of a friend's relationship over this very issue. She's a tightwad, he's a spendthrift.

I am so stressed out right now. I'd love to fly away to a tropical island, soak up the sun, and maybe even drink a margarita or two. But that's not going to happen. I've got to stay here and live life—work, cook, clean, take care of my kid.

Does it bother you when other people come to work sick, all sniffling, sneezy and germy?
A mom in the Newcomer's Club describes a recent incident with her boss, the owner of a hair salon: "She was vomiting all morning and then came to work and vomited some more. There was a bride who was getting married soon, and she did her hair. I sincerely hope that the bride didn't get sick for her honeymoon."
Does it bother you when co-workers bring their sick kids to work with them?
Another mom story: "I love kids, but not when they have snotty noses and touch everything on my desk. If you're sick or you have a sick kid -- seriously, stay at home!"
