Here Comes the Sun print, $35 from theloveshop

Really, all I want for Mother's Day is the windows washed and a cute handmade card from my boys, but I like making a wish list of wants just for fun.

My Mother's Day Wish List includes:

  • World peace (why not?)
  • Some peace and quiet already! (why not?)
  • A good poem (got one to share?)

Wishing you a happy weekend.

+++ What about you? What's on your Mother's Day wish list (real or imagined)?

A man who knows what responsibility is: i.e. for DDs father to man up and be the father he promised he would be.

Since I will never get that, I would really love some pretty flowers to plant in my garden. And maybe for someone to cook for me :~)

Realistically, I would love whatever my oldest daughter picks out for me.  She's so sweet about looking for the perfect thing and considering she's five I think that's great.  Other than that, hugs and kisses, of course.  Lots of them.

Now, my unrealistic wish list is pretty long.  Lol!  But it includes my own space in the home (thinking of one day adding on but that's pretty pricey), new vinyl tile for my retro renovation, peace and quiet would be sooo nice... I also like those tree houses from the link you've posted.  I've always wanted one.

pinkc...

Well, like the first person, my unrealistic wish would be that my stbx was the kind of man he lead me to believe.

Other than that...

I'd love a new digital camera, guess this would fall under the unrealistic wish though, LOL!

It would be nice to have my Mother home for Mothers Day.

I'd love time to paint, uninterupted.

DEBAN...

Wow, I guess I haven't really thought about it. I have been a mother for 6 years and I have never gotten anything more then a " Oh, Happy Mother's day"  So I guess I would ask that my Dh actually recognize that the day is not only about celebrating his mom, but me as well.

(not trying to make him out to be a jerk, he's just really really bad about things like this)
