You know I love some creative reuse at home, giving old furniture or decor items new life by fixing them up or repurposing them for functionality in your home. That's why I'm really digging the May Challenge in the Design on a Dime Moms group.
Design on a Dime Moms group owner carrie_grace is putting up a little creative reuse challenge for CafeMoms. She's asking you to "use what you have to decorate. It is amazing how just by rearranging, painting, embellishing, or reworking items you freecycled, garage saled, salvaged, rescued, or already owned, you can breath new life into your decor!"
She's right and there are already some fun shares posted in the May Design Challenge thread. One CafeMom uses a ladder for decor, a milk jug and a waste basket for planters, a toy box for gardening supplies, and a suitcase to store CDs and records. Another mom repurposes a baby dresser into open shelves and another repaints her son's toddler bed for her daughter.
+++ What about you? What creative reuse projects can you add to the list?
