I have a girl so I never had to worry about getting a Pee-Pee TeePee, but those of you who are expecting boys might consider it. If you don't already know, it's very likely that your little bundle of joy might do a little sprinkle of tinkle in your face (in your hair, on your clothes) during diaper changing time. You can avoid the problem by putting a Pee-Pee TeePee over his "wee-wee" while you change him.

Most women don't want or anticipate ever having to undergo a C-section. But it's a good idea to ask your doctor this question just so there are no (additional) surprises in the event that emergency surgery is necessary (or even if it's not): If I do end up having a C-section, will you close my wound with stitches or staples?

Some women (like Gisele Bundchen) don't need maternity clothes. The rest of us mere mortals do. We're looking for style and comfort. Vivique maternity clothing seems to fit the bill.

As long as your doctor says it's okay, you can exercise while you're pregnant. In fact, it's good for you. These five moves from Autumn Calabrese-Guzman, founder of Mighty Mommies Fitness and a fitness expert at Modern Mom, will help keep your tummy tight now and get it back into shape faster post-pregnancy. They'll also keep your abdominal muscles strong, which will help you during delivery and make your childbirth recovery a little easier.

A nice name for boys of nature-loving moms, Ranger is of French origin and means "ward of the forest." Baby-naming experts Pamela Redmond Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz of the baby name site nameberry predicted that Ranger (and other occupational names) would be really big in 2009.
I do know a little boy named Ranger and thinks it's a nice solid name. Seven CafeMom members have sons named Ranger.
What do you think of the name?

Up to 23 percent of women suffer from depression while they're pregnant. If you're one of them, it can have serious consequences for you and your baby if it goes untreated. But for women who are worried about taking antidepressants while pregnant, there may be another solution.

Does being pregnant ever make you feel like your brain is made out of Swiss cheese? I left my coffee on the roof of my car, forgot my ATM password, misused words, and suffered from overall absentmindedness.

Over 30? On your mark, get set, get pregnant! Quick! Why? Well, because women have just an eighth of their eggs left by age 30.
The other morning, a local radio shock jock (and mom) brought up this recent scientific finding. Her proposal: all women around age 30 who ever hope to have a child should take the ever-dwindling hope that's left and go get impregnated (with anyone! one night stand! whatever it takes...) as soon as possible.
My proposal: Re-friggin-lax already.
