Do You Tell Your Husband When You Take a Pregnancy Test?

I did a post recently about how soon you can take a pregnancy test and it turns out a lot of moms are taking them on the early side -- even before a missed period. But does the hubby always know?
An Anonymous trying to conceive mom posted in Answers about whether or not to tell her husband when she takes a pregnancy test (she was concerned about getting his hopes up) and asking other moms if they did. Here are a few of the responses.
"Not always -- sometimes I don't want him to have to share my disappointment. I usually do try to warn him that I think I might take one in the next week or so, so that he isn't shocked if I finally get the positive I'm hoping for."
"I always took the tests by myself. That way I'm not over-analyzing to DH! And then you can surprise him when it happens!"
"I would take the test, then just tell him if it's positive."
"No, I don't tell him. I've thought I was pregnant a dozen times!"
"I always take the tests alone. Grab a bunch at the Dollar Store and do it when you are emotionally ready, and then you'll have a great surprise for him when it comes up positive!"
What about you? If you're trying to conceive, do you tell your husband when you test?

Yes, actually this Saturday we tested and it came out positive, so I just made a doctors appt. to conferm it.
He was always right there in the bathroom with me :P
Yes, he actually insisted on buying me a bunch of $Tree tests so I could test daily if I wanted. He was as excited as me!
I didn't tell him. We'd both get too nervous. Plus, I knew he'd think I was crazy because I was doing pregnancy tests every single day around period time. I was just so anxious and excited to get pregnant.
Yes, I always tell him when I take. I had to take like 5 when we found out about our DS and he knew it. And it was only one with our DD. I have taken a few here and there since she was born and he knows.
Yes i tell him and i let him check it for me so he knows first
I didn't tell him I was taking it, I had my girlfriend with me both times!! Then I ran right to him & told him! lol :-p
I make him buy the tests, lol. He prefers the digital kind because we can just read the word "pregnant" or the words "not pregnant" so I'm not staring at the lines thinking "is this really a second line or a figment of my imagination?" We actually have a double pack under the sink right now of the digital ones cause I had him buy them two cycles ago but I ended up getting my period the day he bought the tests. :( We're not TTC, but we're not not TTC, lol. Que sera, sera...
My hubby always knew when I was taking a test. We where TTC for three years before we finally concieved our second so it was very emotionally draining. If I didnt have him to share in my sorrow when it was once again not our month I don't know what I would of done.

Yes!! I Cannot keep something that big a secret...positive or negative. It's easier knowing how he feels too
