As you all know, I was Miss Anxious Pregnant Lady --
always worried.
But I had a weird pregnancy dream not long after I found out I was having a girl that actually made me feel a whole lot better.
I dreamed my big belly was transparent and I could see through it. And so could everyone else....
It was strange, yes, but in looking in, I could see my baby. She was pretty in there, bouncing all around with blond hair and blue eyes. And she was healthy. And fine.
And I woke up feeling oddly reassured.

Those wacky pregnancy hormones are probably in part to blame. But there are other reasons, too.
-- You've got a lot on your mind right now -- Dreams are a way for your subconscious to work through all of the big changes coming in your life.
-- They're an outlet for all of the extreme emotions you're experiencing at the moment.
-- Another reason you feel like you're dreaming more and more vividly is that you're waking up more during the night -- to run to the bathroom or to try and get comfy -- so you're more likely to remember the dreams.
Have you been having wacky pregnancy dreams? What was the weirdest?
i had a crazy dream when i was pg with my 2nd baby i dreamt that i could see him thru my belly not transparent like the previous poster but like if you were to put your hand under your shirt. i woke up with a smile but in a cold sweat! it was wierd
I had CRAZY dreams when I was preggers. I dreamt once that I saw my dad, and he has been dead for almost 7 years..... I think my hormones made me crazy... LOL
When I was pregnant I was always having crazy dreams! I had one that I had twins and they turned into shrimp and got lost in a basket full of other shrimp and I was freaking out trying to figure out which ones was my babies. My husband just shook his head and told me I was weird when It old him about the dream ;-D.
With my first baby i kept dreaming I was a pickle and someone was trying to eat me with a fork..........lol. The second baby i kept dreaming i really had to pee but every time i got close to the bathroom the door just kept going farther away.
Crazy can be a state of mind mama. Crazy can me so many things. But pregnancy is a personal choice, just like abortions. I know people who have had doctors run from them cuz they wanted like 7 or 8 abortions, what is the difference between having 7or 8 kids? IDK priorities are important people.
I have been having vivid dreams throughout my whole pregnancy. Some scary, some just plain weird.
Lately they've been taking place at my parents house, or in my old neighborhood.
Just a few nights ago i dreamt that i gave birth to my baby at home in my bed w/no one's help, and i went to go run errands. When i came back i had 4babies waiting for me w/my mom instead of the 1. They multiplied, lol.
Yes, weird dreams are TOTALLY normal during pregnancy - especially sexual ones.
I had one that I was holding a little girl who felt like mine, but "wasn't." (Maybe adopted?) She was maybe 7 months old or so, and a spider crawled across the desk I was holding her on, and she reached out, grabbed it, and ate it.
I had another dream where it was like I could feel every detail of the baby through my skin on my stomach - like the way you can feel the bones in the back of your hand.

The weirdest dream I had when I was pregnant was that I gave birth to a big, beautiful, glittery green fish LOL Fortunately, I had a big, beautiful not-so-glittery flesh-toned human boy :-D
