My kids are Jasper (a type of stone) and Magnolia (a showy flower), so obviously I'm partial to nature-inspired baby names. But the gals over at nameberry have a great list, so if you're looking for inspiration, here's some.

I love Violet and Clementine. I do not have any girls and was not into any of the nature-inspired names for boys.
My old boss is naming her daughter Sage, and if it was going to be a boy she was going to name him Cedar.
My son's name is Rowan (it's a tree), and I've always liked Rose, Lily or Sage for girls. If I didn't know a few girls named Aspen that I didn't like, I'd be a fan of it as well. :)
I like these a lot. My neice's (1st grandchild on my dads side) middle name is Rose and I tried to make it a family tradition to give plant or flower middle names...I gave my daughter the middle name Lily, but my sister didnt want to carry it on. I kind of wish I had thought of names like these for first names with my kids.
One of my friends just had a baby girl and named her Meadow! It is such a pretty name. As for nature inspired boys names, River is a good name, Willow, not so much but to each his own. Uhm...Shad (short for Shadow or Shadric), Faunus (god of nature), and Linden. If you are going for unheard of names, go with Faunus. Here is what it said about this name:
Faunus is a very rare male first name and a very rare surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census). Displayed below is the baby name popularity trend for the boy's name Faunus. Compare Faunus with related baby names.
We just found out today that we're having a girl! And while we haven't picked a name yet I've always kinda liked Apple.
I don't think I would go with it...But I do think it's cute.
