Finally -- Sarah Jessica Parker is becoming a mom again. Times two!

Reps for the actress released a statement yesterday saying that Parker, and husband Matthew Broderick, are "happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate."

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, have been married for 12 years and are already parents to a son, James Wilkie, 6. Reps say the whole fam is "overjoyed" about the news.

Parker comes from a big family (she's one of eight), so I've been expecting more baby news from the couple for ages. It's been reported that they've tried for more kids but not been successful.

I love SJP -- and can't wait for more details once the babies arrive this summer!

Would you consider being a surrogate, or working with one if you had trouble trying to conceive?

lovin...

I considered being a surrogate for my sister, but in the end, I didn't do it. For one, my husband says that any baby that comes from my uterus is going to be raised by him :) and secondly, she's just wasn't that stable then. It wouldn't have been the best situation for the baby. All that aside, though, it would be SOOO hard for me to give the baby to his parents.

I wouldnt be able to give up the baby. Having a baby grow in you and get attach yourself and the to try and unattach, I jsut couldnt do it

Congrats to them.

I could never be a surrogate because I would want to keep the baby/babies.

madam...

So exciting! And while I personally don't think I could be a surrogate, I'm glad there is the option for other women who can not have children on their own.

Sabre...

I think that in order to be a surrogate mother you have to be really strong and not get attached.  I might be able to do it, but my hubby says that I am only allowed to bear his children.lol
