We're joining Kim (aka wntg1grl), a stay-at-home mom of three who's expecting twins, on her exciting journey from bump-to-babies. Check back every week for the latest developments.
I had an ultrasound to determine the gender, but 15 weeks is a bit too early. Baby A gave up nothing, and baby B ... well, it was hard to tell. The tech didn't want to get me excited, but she's leaning 85 percent toward girl.
Here are the pics, if anyone would like to take a guess. I go back this Friday for a second scan, so we shall see. The babies were each measuring 4 ounces -- right on track, which was nice to hear.
Question of the Week from Answers:
When did your doctor look to see if it was a boy or a girl?
J_L_Fshr: With my son, I found out at 14 weeks, which everyone said was way to0 early. But it was correct. With my daughter, I found out at 19 weeks.
desert_diva: There's a slightly higer margin of error at 16 weeks than if you wait two weeks and have it done at 18 weeks. And the error rate drops even lower if it's done around 20 weeks.
jellyphish: 39 weeks, 4 days at birth. I was convinced she was a boy, what an amazing surprise!
