Last time we talked to this mama-to-be she was on her way to the hospital to be induced.
On July 1st, I called the labor deck at 6am and they told me to come in at 11am. We got there and they began 45 minutes later with some pill that I forgot the name of but they put it up in my cervix -- it makes me contract and dilate. After four hours, I was still at 1cm, which is what I was when I arrived. So they put a foley bulb in to make me go to 3cm. About an hour after, I got the epidural.

Wednesday night after work, I started peeing blood. It didn't hurt, and at first is was just tinged pink, but each time I went it got redder. I called the nurse, and she told me to pack my bags and get there ASAP.
My blood pressure was sky high. They were freaking out, running around, thinking I have pre-eclampsia. They'd totally forgotten the blood in my pee. Finally they took a urine sample, which was clear of infection. My bloodwork came back fine, too.

My boss, the owner of a small law practice, and I discussed my maternity leave for the first time last week, and the news wasn't good. We had previously talked about me taking six weeks off, but I never talked to him about getting paid or not. Every time I planned to talk to him about it, we was in a bad mood so I just kept putting it off.
He said I can take the time I need and my job will still be available, but he cannot offer any paid leave, partial or otherwise.
I was really bummed. I was not expecting him to offer me full maternity leave pay, but I thought maybe a week or two.

I had the 3D/4D ultrasound this week. At 34 weeks, the baby is usually pretty big and facing the spine. I've been told that 28-34 weeks is the best time to get facial images, and Aubrey did not disappoint.
My mom, sister, best friend, husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and father-in-law all came to the ultrasound.

After my dramatic early labor scare last week, I can happily say I've had any other signs of labor or trips to the hospital. I'm still having contractions, but I consider these more of the milder Braxton Hicks variety.
I still think she will be early because of the contractions at 24 weeks and those from last week at 32-33 weeks. Also I feel like her head is VERY low, despite the fact that I am still carrying really high. Well, at least it appears to still be high to me.

Week 33
What's Happening with Mom:
This week has been a roller coaster. Thursday evening I was shopping when I started to have bad contractions -- every 4 to 5 minutes and I had to stop to catch my breath.
I called labor and delivery, and the nurse told me to come in right away. When I got to the hospital, they hooked me up to check for the baby's heartrate and monitor the contractions.
"Well, you are definitely having contractions," the doctor said.
Now they were two minutes apart and coming on strong! The doctor checked everything that might explain early labor: my cervix (closed), a urine sample (negative), swabs for infection (negative), hydration (perfect).

Week 32
What's Happening with Mom: This week we painted Aubrey's room and I love the light green color! Now that we have everything ready and the room painted, I'm even more anxious for her to get here. My mom friends warned me this would happen!

Week 31
What's Happening with Mom: This week was my baby shower! My mom and mother-in-law threw it for me. I hate being the center of attention, but it was easier than I thought it would be. Once family and friends started piling in, I got comfortable.
Everyone was all over my belly but it didn't bother me. And many people asked before touching, which I thought was very polite.
