On Thanksgiving, no mom wants to deal with gravy down her toddler's new dress, cranberry sauce on the new shirt, and/or mashed potato in the belly button (you know it could happen).
So why not protect your child's clothing and hard-to-clean nooks and crannies by putting your kid in a cool smock? These SMOX are handmade by CafeMom chealam0de and sold in her SMOX shop.

So loving this handmade toddler tunic/dress from the Ashley Lynne Etsy shop. Isn't it gorgeous? The tunic is $29 for sizes 18 months, 24 months, 2T, 3T, 4T, and 5 and $34 for sizes 6 and 8.
Wish they had my size...

Designer Stella McCartney has a new collection for toddlers at Gap. Lovely materials and soft muted colors in her pretty apparel, which I can't wait to go on SALE. Hee hee.

Photo from Cafe Sheri; Little Hero Cape from Mahar Drygoods
This little initial superhero cape is not a Halloween costume idea (although it certainly could be and might be if I don't get my act together LOL) but more a fun idea for every day play.

Oh, that 3-year-old Suri Cruise sure is cute, but she's already more fashionable than I can ever probably hope to be.
Now she's not just wearing heels, but she's hustling around NYC in heels and a hot pink mini carrying her own Starbucks. In these photos, she's even showing up her gorgeous mom Katie Holmes.
Is she auditioning for Tots and the City or something (sorry, dumb joke...I know...).

I love a handmade Halloween, that's for sure...especially mom-made gear from CafeMoms like this super-cute Great Pumpkin Hat from CafeMom Nells.
Below are a few more fun Halloween get-ups that would be perfect for any Halloween-loving toddler.

Thought I'd share this incredibly easy idea for a girl's Halloween costume -- a Pink Poodle. My daughter saw this in a magazine and wants me to make this for her to wear this Halloween.
This, I can do. There's very minimal sewing involved.
This is all I need:

I love this organizing tip from Ohdeedoh to save time in the morning before preschool—pre-packaging toddler outfits. Here's how to do it:
