Are you excited to send the kids back to school?

Just wondering if I was the only one excited about having a quiet house again. Th holidays were fun but I am so ready for him to go back now. ;0)

  • OH YEAH! I been telling my son I'm going to do the happy dance when I drop him off! Maybe I'll get out of the car in my jammies and do it right there in front of the High School! LOL

  • NO!!! I will miss my baby. My son is in a day program and I have had so many good days with him while he has been home this past month. Now it is time for his routine to be set regular again. I tried to convince my husband that he needs to be more with me. But my husband is right. I am only home temporarily while studying for some state board licensing exams. My husband's point is that soon I will be looking for a new job and he needs to have consistency and routine. I know he is right. And I do need quiet time to study for the boards. But still....I miss the little dude. I will be waiting for 2:00 and rushing to his school to pick him up.

  • I am so happy, thrilled that my two teenage daughters are going back to school on Monday.  I will still be at home with my four year old twins.

  • I love the idea of a happy dance in PJ's in the school drop off line! That made me smile. All parents should do this ritual on the first day of school and the first day back from all breaks. Makes me happy just imagine it. I used to work at a school and I can just picture the whooping and dancing in the pajamas. I can say it would be fun for the school staff as well. Ahh...happy thoughts.

  • I'm ready and I'm not, I'm ready because my kids have been driving me crazy the past couple of days and I'm not because my son's best friend is flying home tomorrow (he's like a second son to us) and I'm going to miss him.
