  • My friend said it is really good, but I would prefer no pills. I don't think you should depend on pills, I know it is hard, but make yourself do it. I have a photo on my fridge, that makes me make the right choices.

  • This may not be much help since I only considered but never tried it... but it is the only FDA approved OTC weight loss pill, which means it works!

  • Some bad things that I have heard from friends who have tried it said that it causes "anal leakage" if you eat fatty foods while using it. She actually had to wear a pad to catch the leakage!!! and she put off kind of an unusual smell while on it too. Sorry,to gross you out it's pretty disgusting I know!!!

  • I am thinking of giving it a try. I understand if you choose to eat fatty foods you may experience stomach problems or having to use the restroom quickly. The whole goal of losing weight includes learning to eat right and exercise. I plan to try only one bottle .. kinda to jump start my weight loss. If there was a "PILL" that worked for everyone~ believe me we would know it!

  • Let's put it this way. The fat you take in comes out like oil.

  • The way alli gets you to lose weight is making you poop your pants. I think I would rather just train myself to eat less fat than take something that makes poop oil come out my butt suddenly.

  • It's FDA approved if that means anything. Personally I wouldn't base my decision on anyone's opinion that hasn't tried it. I'm not a user and I'm unbiased. I would look through their site and YouTube from actual users. Skip past the word vomit.
Best wishes with whatever you decide.

  • Oh and for the record, it's a lower dose of a prescribed med called xenical (sp?) Doctors will prescribe if they believe his/ her patient would benefit. Not all doctors are the same. Heck some are terrible and some are good. Try talking to a pharmacist or two as well.

  • I started it a few weeks ago and have had success with it. I eat low fat and continue to exercise no more than I did before. I have lost 15lbs so far. Excuse the grossness but basically all the talk about anal leakage etc. is if you eat too much fat in any one meal, you will poo it out. thats how it helps you lose the weight. normally excess fat is stored in your body which is what makes you fat, if you poo it out you don't keep it on your body. Plus you can stop the oily poo if you don't eat too much fat. It doesn't happen to me because I keep my fat intake below 10g per meal. It is also a great way to be more aware of the yucky stuff goes into your body. It has to go somewhere...and I prefer it to leave in oily poo than to be stuck on my thighs!!
