  • We tried a recipe for Indial Dal made with lentils this week.  My son and I loved it.  I've also come up with lists of affordable meal ideas--with family favorites like chicken pot pie and minestrone soup.  Here are links to my blog post and article:

  • My hubby, LO and I love this meal.. Cut up chicken and cook it in a skillet with onions and garlic and some pesto. Add it to classico sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce ( you buy at the store usually aboe the reg. sauce) And eat it with noddles. You can also use it with shrimp as well.. My DH LOVES this..

  • Enchiladas..YUMMY! They are super easy and not very expensive either. You can even get a great recipe on the enchilada sauce can at the grocery store.

  • o also i make a mock pot pie, real pot pies are full of fat and time consuming, so i take a fat free cream of chicken soup and put in a dish then add a few cans of veg all and chopped cooked chicken and mix all up then take refrigerator pastry and put on top, tastes just like the real thing but so quick and easy , best way to get rid of leftover chicken, also use it with turkey bruger over rice mmmmm
