  • Dogs rarely attack humans without anyone provoking it or it being in pain.

  • try training your dog a bit more. and well u dont wanna keep him too far away from your son cus then he will see him as a stranger. but i agry with the laddy with the red heart. your kid is more important than your son.

  • Was you son messing with him??? You should either put him down, or put into some intense training. Dogs are never more important than your kids. My Grandma dog bit my couisn when we were little and she never got rid of her. Everyone just new dont get in the dogs face. She really didnt like that, It was hard tho to live with a dog that bites!!

  • First you can't ever leave your kid and dog unattended. W/o knowing the complete situation I can't say whether to put the dog down. If your kid did something and the dog was defending himself that's one thing, if the dog did it out of no where you'll have to get rid of it cuz he's likely to do it again. good luck

  • I wouldnt be letting my animals that close to my child if i wasnt right there with them and if i knew the animal could get aggressive!! But then again, you need to tell your child, "Be Gentle with (animals name)" or tell them "GENTLE HANDS!" or if u speak spanish, "Manos suave" just tell them to be gentle, and if not, redirect your tyke or how ever you deal with their misbehaviors!!!

  • oh and even if ur lil one was egging on ur pet still tell ur pet not nice or something like that, if it happens more than 2 times, then u either need to get rid of ur pet or put it down!!! :( its not fun but you cant risk ur childs life over an animal!!!

  • It really depends on the situation. If your child was provoking the dog, that's one thing. If not, then you need to look at placing the dog with another family without children. There are some dogs that shouldn't be left unsupervised with children, too. Training (both child and dog) can help, too. It really depends on the specific situation and the effort lengths that you're willing to go to to address it.
