Did anyone have a small appetite in the weeks after giving birth?

I can eat a banana and a handful of crackers and be set for the day. I know that this is unhealthy but with the demands of the new baby I don't think about eating and don't even feel hungry.

Is this normal?

  • Yayyyy you had your baby! How are you doing?

I almost passed out many many times because I forgot to eat. I was running on pure adrenaline the first week. It was HELL.

Now I'm nearly a month postpartum and I eat a little TOO much. Get someone to get you some Ensure if you can. It'll help you get nutrients even though you're not eating a lot. I promise, it'll all get better. Next week you'll have a lot more figured out :D
