  • I highly disagree with getting names tattooed unless it's your kid or parent or other actual family member or in remembrance of the dead.

men come and go honey, don't get his name branded on your body!

  • Considering 1 out of 2 marriages end in divorce, I personally don't think it would be a very wise choice, but to each their own:)

  • I think it is a little foolish. As the other ladies have indicated, it isn't a wise choice. I haven't ever seen anyone who stayed with the person whos name they tattooed on them forever. Not once. And then how do you explain to the next Mr Right, that you got someone elses name permanently branded into your skin. I love tatoos, but not a lovers name. My daughters name will be the only one, except maybe if I have another child at some point....

  • I wouldn't do it! One of my ex's had his ex's name on his arm and had to have my cousin cover it up with a much larger tattoo!

  • Omg! NO WAY don't do that!

I do have a tattoo of my brother's name on me but he passed away in 1997!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE and ADORE my ex-husband!! (my divorce was finalized on the 14th of this January) I was with him for 7 years and still would NOT get his name tattooed on me. I know we will always be a part of each others' lives until our girls are on their own but that's still 20years down the road.
