Where can I get a knitting pattern for a hat with flaps?

  • I made a cute little ear flap hat for my youngest but the pattern was in a book (no clue what book). Basically it was a knit hat which started with k1p1 ribbing in the round and then after like 4 inches went to knit every round until it was big enough and then decrease evenly around every other row until a few stitches remained. The ear flaps were knit flat and attached later.
    You could basically use any hat pattern and add the flaps.
