Which cruise line offers child care?

My family and another couple and their child would love to go on a cruise this summer but....can't find a cruise line that accepts children under 2 yrs. With exception to Disney, is there any other? This summer our children will be 1 1/2yrs and 6 months. TIA

  • Our son went on his first cruise at 13 months and there was a 6 month old on board.

To the best of my knowledge you can't fly or cruise with a baby under 6 weeks without medical approval. Just the same as you can't fly at the end of the pregnancy without medical approval and cruising there is no way.

Disney only allows a limited number of hours of babysitting for kids under 2.

Here is information from Carnival who have babysitting for under 2's. I have found that each company/ship/itinerary/departure date can have different options so make sure you check.
    http://www.carnival.com/CMS/Static_Templates/babysitting.aspx

This site gives a good quick summary. All cruise lines will make general statements about kids clubs, baby sitting etc but you have to ask for the fine print for the cruise you are thinking about.

  • prolly their only options would be family keeping the baby, or trying to sell it to someone
