Which cruise line would you recommend for teenagers?

We are planning to possibly go on a cruise for our vacation this summer. We will be taking our kids ages 12 and 13. We have only sailed on the Windjammer Barefoot cruises, but they folded (so I assume, I can't find them). We don't have to have the big fancy stuff. The more sun and water the better. :)

  • I've been on a lot of cruises.. all to the Caribbean. Carnival is not my fave, but is very popular with the college crowd as well as families. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are my faves.. the ships are nicer, as well as the food, entertainment, staff, etc...
I've been to : Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Grenada, St. Thomas, Venezuela, Aruba, Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Belize, Mexico and Key West ( psh..it's FL, who cares..)

I love to cruise..we're just waiting on the new baby to get a little older and then we'll take the kids too..

  • I went on Carnival and loved it. My parents go on all different cruises every year. They haven't had a problem with any of the popular cruise lines yet. A good friend of mine swears by the Disney Cruises.

  • Royal Carribean was the first one that came to mind. My DH has done over 30 cruises.
You should check what is one each ship but I know some of them have the rock climbing wall, miniature golf etc.
I liked Princess and Celebrity a lot.
    Disney was great for non-smokers.

  • we went on the carnival. i can't say about other cruises cause i never been to another but i really liked it and i would do another cruise if i could. we went o jamaica, grand caymen and cozamel. we went to go back to cozamel and jamaica. grand caymen was to commercialized. only thing was that they picked who we sat with and our dinner friends never showed up. so we ate alone. we want to go on another that allows you to pick where and who with. we sat next to a table with this lady with HUGE titts and it was hard not to look. then you saw her in the morning and her titts were not as big cause she didn't wear her very supportive bra and they were down closer to her waist rather then right under her chin. yuck.

  • i went on a Princess Cruise to the western carribean... the ship was clean and food was good, i didnt like staying on a boat rather than a beach, they had basketball courts and 3 pools (the actual ship was called the dawn princess) i would recommend them if you want to go on a cruise. they are also some of the cheaper fares... it seemed pretty safe too... i havent been on other boats so i have no real reference point though.
