  • I think you should be ok though. If you drink too much water in a short amount of tme then you can literally "drown". Like that mom in Sacramento who drank herself to death holding her "wee" for a Wii.

  • What it does is it flushes out necessary salt. It throws off our electrolytes if we consume too much.

  • It is possible to drink too much water I just don't know exactly how much is too much. I read an article a long time ago about a girl that unknowingly took an extacy pill and got sick so her friends made her drink a lot of water and in the end she died not from the drug, but from drinking so much water.

  • As long as you maintain a balance you'll be okay. The problem occurs when you are just drinking tons of water and not eating or drinking anything else.

  • Yes, if you drink to much, you will mess up your electrolites and if you drink WAY to much, you can actually drown your body and die. But you are FINE, it is VERY hard to drink to much.

  • yup.. too much isnt really healthy. but it depends on what you eat. if you eat lots of salty and sweet stuff you will need lots of water. or if you drink coffee, then you need a glas of water with every cup of coffee

  • You can drink too much, but I don't think the amount you mentioned is a problem.

  • My mother drinks a ton. She is 64 and she is doing very well. If your problem persists, maybe see a doctor. You could be deficient in some sort of vitamin or other nutrient.

  • I think it depends on the timeframe in which you drink the water. If you drink a ton of water all at once, yes, you could have problems, and you could even die. But if you drink the water, and space it out, and pee a lot, I don't think it should be a problem.
