How do you clean a self-cleaning oven?

...wanted to add...I think the reason you aren't supposed to use an oven cleaner on a self cleaning is that it gets too hot and creates toxic fumes. This doesn't mean that you can't use an oven cleaner with the oven on a lower temp- what is recommend on the container, and just rinse well -or look for a cleaner that is safe for use on self cleaning ovens. The wet rag idea might work too....just make sure it stays wet so it doesn't catch fire.
