Do you cut your child's hair at home?

William is terrified of the Barber's chair but will let me trim it a little. I have no experience in this but I didn't do a really bad job of it. He wears a hat most days!!!

  • My child has never had a hair cut, but I cut my hair and my husband's hair so when it finally comes time for my daughter to get a trim you can bet I will be doing it. I think I do a pretty good job and it saves a lot of money.

  • My youngest son is really scared of barber chairs too. It did help when he was younger to have him sit on my lap in the chair. Now he's comfortable if I stand by him while he gets it cut.

  • my mom cuts my sons hair. i can't get him to sit still long enough and he hates going to a salon. but he sits like an angel for my mom so she cuts it usually once a month.

  • I did when they were little. Now they are all teens, my eldest is almost 19! Ugh. I still do little things, but my son only goes to the salon. I loved cutting his hair into a little man cut! Before that he had a full head of golden ringlets, so cute! He will be 17 in August, where did the time go?

  • My son is autistic and is terrified of strangers and strange plces. I bought myself a pair of clippers and I put the #2 guard on them and I buzz his hair myself. It looks ok and and were don't have to have an all out war getting it done.
