Why shouldn't we help the octuplets mom?

i dont get why companies wont help her out. i mean families that adopt a few kids w/ disablilities they get help EVEN THOUGH they get their ssi money (or whatever it is) ... its stupid , its the same thing , those families w/ disables kids cant afford stuff and who knows this mom might not be able to either ... i think its rude to fund EVERYTHING for THOSE kids , but not moms like her who have alot of kids and MIGHT need help

  • I think they need to help the mom and the kids - put the mom in the nut house and put the kids in responsible foster homes

  • I dont have a problem helping them out. I think they will end up with more help then we will ever know about though. People donate to others all the time and I dont see this is going to be any different.

  • It's because of the reason she had them. Accidents get emotional support, "on purpose stupidity" does not.

  • Agree with Anon 11:03!! Families adopting kids with disabilities is a whole different situation then having 8 kids on purpose when you can't support them.

  • Comparing her to parents who adopt children with disabilities is completely irrelevant. This is the life she wanted. She claims she suffered from a dysfunctional childhood and lacked love and attention from her parents. Her solution was to then go out and have as many children as possible, although she clearly knew she couldn't adequately support them. News flash: Many people have dysfunctional childhoods and don't result to reproducing as much as possible in order to fill a void. I think she should've seen a professional years ago before she brought fourteen children into the world. I have no sympathy for her; only for her kids.

  • How can you compare a family adopting a child with a disablity with what this woman did? She did for her own selfish reasons! So I want to have another baby but I can't afford it right now. Would it be alright if I did it anyway because I can get on welfare?
