My mom says you shouldn't. I don't.

  • I think that's personal preference. I know that i would never be able to fall asleep if i had to sleep with the underwires pressing down on my ribs, so i make sure i am comfy with no bra on.

  • My mom told me it was bad too but I don't know why. I have never wanted to though and if I could get away without wearing one in the day I would!

  • I don't, but did until I got pregnant with my first. My mom always told me that wearing a bra was linked to breast cancer. Here are a few articles that I found on the subject, one is older, but very informative. The other is from 2008.

  • I was always told it wasn't good to wear a bra to bed because your breasts shouldn't be restricted 24 hours a day. I don't like going braless but I wouldn't sleep comfortably if I wore one during the night.

  • I never did until I got pregnant. Then I wanted to have extra support while I was growing and stretching, and then breastfeeding and such. Now sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't.

But I know a woman who is in her late 50s. She has worn a bra to bed everynight since she started wearing one in her early teens. Never gone to bed one night, or one day without one. And you know what? She has the breasts of a goddess. Seriously, no sag. No age. Perfect.

  • I have heard both that you should and that you shouldn't. I got these sleep bras, but I cannot for the life of me remember where. They were designed specifically for sleeping. I am not really sure what made them so special but I got them when I was pregnant with my son because my breasts were so sore I couldn't not wear a bra to bed.
