  • Get ONE!!! its the most amazing thing...who cares about a 100 bucks...you will never get that back. Its priceless. I think we spent close to 200 cuz I wanted all the pics on DVD and they gave us a 20 min video. its amazing how much it looks like her after she was born. Just do it and you'll be glad you did.

  • I almost got one with my son at the 20 week u/s. When I made the appointment, I did not know that I needed to request the 3D u/s machine, so I got a regular one. No biggie, it was still cool to see the baby on the screen :)

  • Also at the place I had mine done, it's on a HUGE screen, they even had sofas where you could have a shower there is you wanted. You could have like up to 20 people. It was a blast.

  • I liked mine. You can see the babies features really well, but they still look kinda creepy. If you do get one, don't think your baby is really going to come out looking that way lol. I got lucky too and my doctor did a 3D ultrasound for me for free!

  • I would recommend getting one between 27-32 weeks becuase after that it takes up too much space and its hard to see anything.

  • Do it. That isn't a bad price at all! Hell, if it were that price, I would have had one before my son was born. I wanted one so bad.

  • umm ... just do a little research on what a baby experiences when the ultrasound is happening, and on what exactly is being done ... the website of Midwifery Today lets you read any of their articles by doctors and midwives. ...

  • I had one also. I loved it, I think it is worth it. I spent more than 100 dollars but I got a really good package. My dr. didnt do it, I went to a place called sneek peak ultrasounds. I would do it again at any moment!

  • They're called "4D" they're not covered by insurance and are done at specialty places. There are some in various malls. You can try googling "4D ultrasound locations" to find one near you. They like for you to get them done before you're past like 32-34 weeks or else the baby is too big to really see anything properly. Some doctor's offices can switch to a 3D type view IF their US machine has the capability. You can try asking next time you're there.
