What's the best way to get rid of upper lip hair?

I used Nair's cream remover for a long time, but it took repeated applications to work and never really was all that great. As I get older, I have more upper lip hair, and it's driving me crazy.

  • Wax it. Or laser to permanently remove it.

  • Laser hair removal is the best way to go if the hair is dark. The laser removes the dark hairs but leaves the light hairs. I'm having mine removed and have been very pleased so far. However, it is expensive. My mother and daughter gave me one year of unlimited visits for my birthday!

If the hair is still blonde or light colored just trim it short. You can also bleach it and then trim it.

  • Shave! I tried waxing my hair on the lip numerous times and each time I would get red blotches where the hair was! So I had a horribly noticeable, red mustache! I shave mine in the shower every few mornings, nice and quick, no hair and no irritation!

  • I wax it. As soon as I rip it off I put witch hazel on it. It helps with the redness and irritation. If I could afford it, I would laser it but.....

  • I pluck it. Same benefits of waxing without the skin irritation. Takes a little longer but if you do a little bit once a week it is easy to keep up with.
