How do you remove a formula stain?

I don't have a lot of time to be scrubbing. I have twins!

  • Put steaming hot water in a bucket and get the oxy versatile and put about 2 scoops ( only use a bucket so its strong, not the washer cuz it will dilute it too much) and let it soak for a few hours.. I did this to clothing of a friends daughter that hadnt been used for a year and it came right out.... or your could use yellow out becase formula stains are really iron stains

  • I use spray and wash (let it sit for a few minutes before throwing it in the wash). I also add a scoop of oxy clean to every load. Hope that helps.

  • I use oxi clean in every wash and it does the best job. You can also use a product called biz that works really well and it is fine for sensitive skin. Because I have very sensitive skin and have no issues with either

  • I've never had a problem with formula staining. I use Good Start. But for baby food stains I use Seventh Generation Natural Baby Detergent.

  • Yep spray & wash either liquid or stick worked GREAT and oxyclean is a pretty good 2nd place...

But you have to do it right then...as soon as they spill or spit up; take the item off; rinse it; then apply the spray & wash stuff or sprinkle a thin layer of oxyclean on it and rub in...then wash as soon as possible

  • I always loved Baby Oxiclean. It worked the best on formula and babyfood stains.

  • I always squirt shout on the stains right away and then put them in the basket. I dont have a washer and dryer and I work fulltime so I only get to do laundry about once a week, and it works great. I have never had a stain not come out.

  • I am in NC. There is a product called 'Awesome' and it will get any stain out. I found it at Family Dollar and it's only $1 it does not discolor your clothes either. I spray it on the stain right before washing my son's clothes. It's great!!
