  • My son is 13 now, and it was the best decision I have ever made. It is open adoption, we have a very good relationship. PM me if you need any support. It is a very difficult decision, but if you have open adoption, you ask the adoptive parents to go to the dr. visits with you, to experience everything you do. I insisted on the mom to be to do shopping for maternity clothes, it gave us a really good bond. I am very close to her still, and it helped me feel comfortable with my decision to have her adopt the baby.

  • My son is almost 2.. if you EVER need to talk you can PM me anytime. I will never judge you, or discredit your feelings.

I won't tell you want you did was right, because I don't if that's true.

There are a couple of forums on here that have helped me in my journey. Again, PM if you need anything..

  • There are lots of us here! I relinquished my daughter 18 years ago and have been in full reunion with her for 11 of those years. There are a couple of CafeMom groups that have been very helpful to me in support and growth.

  • Hey there, I gave up my son 10 years ago Feb 12th. It was the hardest decision I've ever made, but also the best. I don't regret it for a minute. If you ever want to talk I'm just a click away.
