  • I had pushed for almost 6 hours. And I was DONE! We also ended up getting a fever, both my son and I. So they took him right away.

  • I was in constant labor for 24 hours and wouldn't get past a 7 so they had to take him since they broke my water already and were worried about infection. I didn't have a choice.

  • I had a scheduled c-section with my son. They said he was too big for me to have naturally. At 40 weeks he had not dropped yet. He was a big boy at almost 9 lbs.

  • My first c-section was due to placental abruption. My second was because I was stupid. My last birth was vaginal.

  • I was in labor 21 hours and spent 3 hours pushing just trying to get him down into the right place so I could start pushing to deliver him. They finally decided he wasn't going to come on his own, and good thing... He was 9lbs 12 1/2 oz 21 1/2 inches!

  • I did. I went into labor naturally, got my epidural, and they broke my water. After breaking my water the babies heart rate started rapidly declining. They had me turn side to side quite a few times, but after a few minutes they decided they didn't want to risk anything. After about 40 minutes or so it was over and I was holding my beautiful baby boy. My C-section was great, but I have heard some horror stories. I plan on having one with the next child as well.

  • I had to be induced and even then I wasn't dilating properly and my son was just not making any motivation on his own to come out. After nearly 12 hours of labor they finally told me that it would be best if I had a c-section. Two hours later they did the c-section and there were a few minor complications, but out came a healthy 11 lb. 10 oz baby boy. The doctor said we would have both died if I didn't have the c-section because they discovered that my pelvic bones were too small and he was too big to fit through it.

  • I had a c-section because after 18 1/2 hours of labor I was "regressing" in dialation, they couldn't keep my son on the monitors but more importantly because my blood pressure was dropping like a stone so mine was done to preserve the life of both my son and myself.
