  • If you cook them slowly on the grill and don't over due it then they should be fine. The key is to do it slow.

  • Make steak sandwiches out of them!

cut them up into thin strips, out them in a pan with beef broth, cook them for about 15mins in the beef broth, then remove the steak strips. Make a gravy in the pan and then put the strips back in, let it cook a little longer and reduce. Then serve on Hoagie buns or hard rolls! YUM!

I also like to top mine with provolone cheese!

  • If you like an asian flavor and spicy food, try this: Take the steaks, beat them lightly with a meat tenderizer, and put them in a ziploc bag. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tsp lemon juice, and 2 or 3 sliced jalapenos or serrano peppers. If you don't have fresh peppers you can use 1 tsp dried red pepper flakes. Marinate for about 3 or 4 hours, then grill on low heat til they are done to the wellness that you prefer them. I always get good reviews when I cook steaks this way (we like to do this with a whole tri-tip roast too, and marinate for 24 hours then grill on low for 45 minutes or so...just to give you another idea for next time!)

  • For Tigger:

An easy way to make gravy is to mix 3 tbls of cornstarch with about 1/4 cup water. Mix it completely to make a slurry, then slowly whisk it into the broth that you cooked your meat in. It will thicken it up quite nice and then just season it to your taste.

  • tenderize it and add beer to your marinade..i like to do this for marinade...(may sound gross but comes out delicious!) i 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of honey bbq sauce, a few shakes of soy sauce, few shakes of teriyaki sauce, few shakes of worshtishire sauce, chopped green onion, chopped cilantro, lemon juice, seasoned salt, garlic powder, pepper, and then i add a bunch of beer to liquify it(maybe half can)..(thats a good tenderizer) if you dont have beer, use some water..mix it all together and put your steaks in there!..but i personally like to use only london broils becuase it just tastes sooooo good and its nice and thick..i like RARE steak.
