Where is the cheapest place to get digital photos printed?

I have over 2000 (YES 2 0 0 0) photos on my computer that I need to get printed. I have heard that the more you order, the better price you get. Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

  • I've been wondering that too, I have about 5,000 or more photos that I got to print also, I thought the cheapest was walmart, but I found out 2 weeks ago, its not. Just for 20 pictures they charged me 6 dollars, major rip off, I wasn't going to pay it because I had a coupon but they didnt want to accept my coupon just because the corporate that sent it to me didn't stamp it an expiration date, how stupid is that right, I mean its not even my fault, its theres but they shouldn't decline it just for that, its ridiculous especially because its there mistake!

  • I do it at walmart.com you can even edit them on their site! they arent too bad and i think if you order over 100 its .09 a pic. I also get things in the mail for rite aide to get 5 free pics if you order 20 or something like that i kjnow that doesnt help but! try shutterfly.com too they can print but not sure of the price...i think when you sign up you get so many free. plus you can give a code or something to people that live out of town and they can go on and order pics too!

  • I order from clark photo. The last time I did it it was about 6 cents a pic. You have to pay shipping on your pics though. It took about a week from order date to delivery date in the mail. It is awesome. I have been using this company for years. Yes I mean years we go to film in the 35 mm days. I love the quality of their work as well.

  • It will be so much less of a headache if you do them online (since theyre on your computer) and you dont want to sit there on a stool in a store having to click through 2000 picks! I order all the time from www.snapfish.com (they're not the best quality, honestly, but I like that they have the option to do 4X6 sized photo collages so you can put two or three pics on one photo sheet, it saves a fortune and looks too cute on scrapbooking pages!) I like the quality best from www.shutterfly.com and they're quick and I've never had any problems. www.photoworks.com is good too but they don't offer borders on prints and you cant add text to prints either. Go to www.retailmenot.com for coupon codes for either site and if you're a first time user they might throw in freebies like free shipping/a photobook/50 free prints!!!

  • I use snapfish.com. You upload your photos onto the website. When you're done uploading it tells you how much the entire album will cost. 4x6 prints are 9 cents each no matter how many you order. You can put in your order and they will give you the option to pick them up in a store or have them shipped. I've done it several times. And when you order you get credits for prints. You can order gifts from them also. I just ordered a picture collage blanket for my friend for her birthday.

  • That is a lot of photos! Do you want to print them ALL????? I download mine to dvds so that I do not loose them (you never know when the computer will crash) and print them out at home with a photo printer when I am ready to do something with the photo (scrap book, frame it etc). I buy the photo paper when it is on sale or put that on my Christmas or Birthday wish list.

Sometimes it is cheaper to print a bunch of pics on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet and cut them apart.
