  • We also will use baby wipes on things when we run out of cleaner. Baby wipes have oil in them and are great for cleaning wood as well as dusting. They also have discinfecting properties and I'll use them to clean gaming devices as well as the computer and keyboard.

We have just enough germs to have good immune systems in my house lol. Cleaning is important to me. Too much bacteria overworks the immune system making it easy for a new bacteria that might be introduced to you to completely knock you off of your feet. It is important to have a balance.

We also freeze our sheets (after putting them into plastic bags) to kill the dust mites and lose the allergens before we wash them.

  • I use cleaning products from melaleuca.com. The products are all eco friendly and kid friendly. I think caring for our kids and the environment are very important right now. I just feel like I am doing my part for the earth. I absolutley love the sol u mel. It is an all purpose cleaner and smells great. I spray it on my beds and furniture. I also clean the walls with it but I have to dilute it for cleaning the walls. I use sol u guard which is a disinfectant. I just spray it all over everywhere just to freshen up and kill any germs. I also love the multipurpose melamagic. I mop all my floors with it. I just love melaleuca. I am so proud I made the switch to GREEN!

  • My husband and I make our own disinfectant for hard surfaces like the kitchen and bathroom etc. We make our own "windex" for clear and glass surfaces. Our floors (hardwood and tile) are steam-sanitized with a Shark Steam Mop. We vaccum and then steam our rugs and carpets. We use pledge and beeswax on the wooden and antique wooden furniture.

I often use shaving foam (the unscented kind is best) to clean the bathroom shower stall. It is a high concentration of soap with discinfecting properties and it's ability to foam and cling get the shower sparkling. I also soak our tooth brushes in mouth wash about once a week and have used mouth wash to clean things like our phones and bathroom sinks. It also is a high concentration of soap and has discinfecting properties, especially for the kind of germs found on toothbrushes and sinks and where your mouth is (of course lol).
