Should I use a diaper genie?

personally i thing a garbage with a tight fitting lid emptied daily works well

I love love love my genie. Seals in the smell and its so easy to dispose of the diapers. I tried the garbage pale thing and scented bags, but hell no, didnt work at all. Genie, love it. If youre worried about cost, you can ussually find them easily at Once upon a child and walmart carried bags for $5 and they last a long time.

I dont like the diaper genie but I LOVE the diaper champ!!!!

If you go with regular trash, I suggest getting some of the small plastic diaper disposal bags (they are usually blue) and putting the poopy diapers and poopy wipes in one of those and tieing it shut before throwing it in the trash. I use them when I'm out and about and they really work to keep the smell in. I don't feel badly dumping a baggie full of poopy diaper in a public trash can because I know I won't be stinking up the restroom.

I use my diaper genie all the time. It is the best thing I have used and I can put it anywhere without worry of smell.

i use the trash, just empty it everyday and no you'll have no worries. but if you do get a ripe one every so often just wrap it in a plastic bag so the stench doesn't overtake a room

they make a thing called a diaper champ, you can find them at walmart. You use a standard garbage bag. Thats your best bet. Its also cheaper and you wont have to keep buying the bags for the diaper genie

I have a diaper genie and I love it. It keeps all the smells in. Which on those dirty one's it really comes in handy. And this way you don't have to worry about taking out the trash everyday. U can get the refills at Wal-Mart for $5 and change. The refills also last awhile. Good Luck!

I agree with the majority of resonders, the Diaper Champ is the best...hands down!!! I love being able to use regualr kitchen bags :)

Diaper Genie is great for the smell. Our changing table is inside of our walk-in closet, so it's obviously important to us to keep away the smell of poop. Works great. Just make sure if you use Diaper Genie II, you buy the right refills. Someone just gave me a refill for the first Diaper Genie, and it's way too big for Diaper Genie II.
