How can I remove mold from the bathroom?

Above our shower on the wall we have some mold creeping at us....is there some way to stop it that is inexpensive?

  • Make a bleach and water solution and spray it on. Let it sit for a little while then spray or wipe with water or a rag. Works for me.

  • Bleach-scrub it. Try to keep your curtain open to dry it in there so that there isn't so much moister for it to grow.

  • If you don't mind the smell or chemical, bleach will kill it. BUT, if it's coming from behind the sheetrock, you'd have to rip that down and take out where it's origin is.

  • Bleach kills mold but if it's coming from behind something, you will need to remove whatever is in front of it to treat it.

  • If it is black mold it needs to be completely removed. Black mold can make you very ill. Otherwise a strong bleach solution will take care of it.

  • Open Windows & A Bleach Mixture but you must have proper ventillation to be Safe! Good Luck! Make sure you have A Good Fan too! Open Windows when you can! Let the Shower Curtain or Door Stay open & dry out too! Its good to watch out for Mold & nip it in the Bud First! Also preventative paint too can Help!
