do you go on you child’s myspace, or email, or even their cell phone and check what they are doing? do you feel like you are violating their privacy?

i check periodically, i have to find a way lately to get to his cell phone because he has it with him always. I will probably sneak in his room at night and check. his my space i have his password and i check to see what websites he's been on, he knows i check and i discuss with him the importance of being responsible and what can happen if he is not. if i'm checking that means other mothers are and if they see something from him they don't like, how embarrassing or damaging. all teens make mistakes, they have to in order to learn. so i believe you have to protect them as a mom, so they can DEAL with their mistakes. you don't want the mistake to be to big. like ending up on the "sex offenders list". for goodness sake!!!
