What do you use to make your pork chop breading?

I LOVE to make fried pork chops more than chicken so I make it maybe once a week . I LOVE the seasoning and stuff I put into to the flour I just can't get the breading to stick to the pork while frying it .
I use milk and flour should I be using egg as well ??

  • Try an egg wash. Beat egg with a little bit of milk.

  • when i fry pork, I beat an egg, dip the meat in the egg, and then bread it and fry it. It sticks much better. I've never tried to flour it first and then the egg and then fry it. But I wouldn't be opposed to trying it, cuz it would prob. work well too.

  • What are you frying them in? I use to use liquid oil and mine wouldnt stick either. Now I just dip then in egg, then the flour, then put them in crisco shortning. Its so much nicer. And the last batch doesnt burn like it does when you cool them in oil.

  • I use buttermilk. It works great and for some reason my pork chops are always tender and juicy!

  • When you bread anything, just remember; Dry / Wet / Dry. In other words, flour (dry), egg, milk, buttermilk, etc. (wet), then breadcrumbs (dry). It works like a charm!
