How do you apply eye liner?

I see it on upper & lower, just the upper, half of the upper.......I don't know how to do it. Anyone out there care to help? Thanks in advance :)

  • Okay, I am a Mary Kay Consultant and I get this all the time. Eyeliner is made to extend the lookof your lashes. So, start from the inside of your bottom of your eye, and go out, BUT, only put eyeliner under your eye, and only where you have lashes, it is not to be put where you don't have lashes. Although some women do, it is not made to make a line, but to extend your lashes. Some even do it on the inside above the lash. It jsut gets washed away there adn really doesn't make your eyes look nicer. Hope that helps. If you are interested in more tips or checking out MK products dropme a line! BTW experiment like someone else said, all of our eyes and looks are diffferent.

  • If you have small eyes, apply it right above the lash line : upper lid - from inner corner all the way to the outer corner, making the line a little thicker as you go. If you want to apply it at the lower lid, just go from outer corner to about midway. Smudge it a bit so you don't end up looking like a corpse, unless you like that kind of look. :)

It really depends on the shape of your eyes. Experiment.

  • I usually play with it because for me it varies upon the color I use. I usually try to put it on my lash line because it can help your eye color pop out some. Of course, I don't do this exactly with every color though. I would pick a color you like on you and just play with it starting on the lash line if you don't like it try smudging it some, especially on the bottom.

  • Really just depends on what you like and the look you want! On your upper lid, at the lash line so you don't see any skin and if you have very open round eyes and want them to look a bit smaller line your bottom too, again get right in the lash line.    If you have long almond eyes and want to open them up none on the bottom!good

  • It really is all about your eye's shape. But one other thing that can help is an eye liner that works good. I have found a really inexpensive one at Walgreens that is amazing. It is called Incolor Fabuliner. It is like a magic marker with a pointed tip. It makes your line nice and even without all the hastle (and I don't even work for that company or anything- they should hire me as a spokeswoman =)

  • It really depends on the shape of your eye. There are several makeup places that do free consultations and can show you how to apply it. Check out Sephora.

  • It depends on what is the shape of your eyes, how is the style would you like to wear, the occasion, the clothe, accesories... so, i can recomend you searching videos in youtube about makeup and facebook. And you will see many different women applying makeup and many many ways to look great, anyway, anywhere and always!
