  • I started giving my daughter Pedia smart from Baby's Only Organic. She 's done well with it. I blend it with ice and some fruit and she thinks she's getting a milkshake:)

  • Children (or adults for that matter) don't NEED to eat meat for proper nutrition. Other foods such as rice, beans, whole grains, milk, eggs all have the protiens that make up for it.

And, as pointed out, alot of times its just a phase anyhow...

  • My 2 yr ds is a picky eater also. He doesn't want to eat meat (except for the occasional chicken nugget), so I make sure he eats cheese, eggs, peanut butter, etc. He loves his veggies, so many times that will be all he eats! His dr. said not to worry about it too much, as the other posts have said, as long as he is eating something that is ok. Hope this helps!!

  • You know, I would NOT worry too much. Of course, you are talking to a mother who is constantly telling her two older kids "EAT!" "EAT!" because they are not the best eaters, however, I do feel that kids will become better eaters as they grow up. Foods that I would NEVER touch as a child, for example, sweet potato, broccoli, spinach, etc. are some of my favorites now, so we have to have faith. My son doesn't eat yogurt or peanut butter or butter or anything on bread or crackers, but he drinks milk. My older daughter doesn't eat any cheese, yogurt, butter, etc. and only has CHOCOLATE MILK, but both of them are growing and are on the thinner side, but better than too heavy, right? They also have a ton of energy, so not to be too concerned about them getting enough nutrients, it will all balance out at some point. GOOD LUCK!
