  • how about tortilla soup. it's easy and fun and most people like it. all you need is 3pks of enchilada mix, 1pk of chili mix, 1can of rotel, 1can of corn, 1can kidney beans, an onion, bell pepper, garlic and 2quarts of water(start off with 1quart and add more if needed). cook for 45min-1hr. top the pot with onion tops and add tortilla chips and shredded velveeta cheese to each bowl and bon appetite! this is one of my fav recipes, yum yum. hope your party goes well.

  • Ok, this one is a party FAVORITE for every party I've ever thrown.

1 stick of velveeta cheese, cubed

1 lb ground beef, browned in a skillet.

1 package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

Combine the cheese with ground beef in a crockpot. Heat on low until the cheese is melty. When all is liquified, add the Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

Serve on wedges of bread. It tastes EXACTLY like a white castle. No joke. It's amazing!

  • I have a great recipe for cresent rolls filled with cream cheese, smoked salmon (other meats such as bacon work too), capers, diced tomatos, yellow or orange bell pappers and red onions...they are always a huge hit and easy to make as well!

  • I am real picky with my sweet & sour sauces, but I tried one a party once & thought it was homemade. Nope it was out of a CAN of all things.

Quick & easy...The sauce was from (sp?) Contentina (usually an italian brand) sweet & sour. Just pour several cans over defrosted (easy enough) meatballs & throw in a crockpot. People will think you worked your behind off :-)

Another EASY hit is bbq mini weenies. Just open the little guy's, open your favorate bbq sauce and poor over them (in a crockpot).

I have others that are easy & hits, but they require at least 6 ingredients and layering.
