What did you put on your baby registry?

I have put everything on there. I put diapers, bottles, onsies. everything. that way people know what you need and they have plenty of options on what to get for you. Just go through and pick out everything you need and I got things in a variety of price ranges so no one felt bad if they couldnt get something

I put everything I needed on there - diapers, bottles, blankets, clothes, carseat, etc. I also put a few non-necessary fun things - a stuffed animal, a rattle, etc. And some decor items - a picture, cute nightlight. That gives people a wide variety of things to choose from at many different prices.

One mistake that I made when doing my registry was adding things such as toys. Why do I think this was a mistake? Because it seemed that most people ended up buying the cute things like toys and lamps instead of things we actually really NEEDED like diapers, wipes, stroller, etc etc. On baby registries I think that best idea is to only really add the necessities, plenty of people decide to not go with the registry and get you all the other things.

I would leave out toys like MamaPyratekk said. I would also leave out clothes. If people want to buy clothes let them pick them out. I only registered for stuff I really needed. That helped make sure I;d get it and not all the cutesy stuff. That stuff is tempting, but when you have run to the store for essentials you'll realize that cute is overrated.

Definitely register for washcloths, burp cloths, hooded towels, onesies, gowns/sleepers, bibs and receiving blankets. I found that about a dozen washclothes, about 8 burp cloths, and about 3-4 hooded towels worked great (so that I only had to do laundry once a week). If you have a car seat, stroller, high chair, etc, picked out but not bought yet, put those on your registry too. A baby grooming kit, diapers, wipes (you can never have too many diapers and wipes) are also nice to have on there. If you search the internet, there are a lot of checklists for this. So instead I'll say the things I wish I had added/gotten. Diapers, wipes, breast feeding essentials (such as pads, lotion, storage containers and gerber has a hot/cold pack that worked wonders since I was so sore). I used the drop in bottles and I got bottles, but no drop ins. Let's see... pacifiers, the snuzzler. Unlike the previous posters, I had toys on my registry, but no one got me any. Add a few things to grow into such as bowls, spoons, sippy cups. They grow up fast and next thing you know you need these things!

The one thing I got more than enough of was clothing.
