  • Stuffed Italian shells pretty easy and always a hit! Just google "stuffed cheese shells recipe" and see what you can find. Everyone always asks me to make them.

  • I am not at all a fan of Rachel ray but I think she has some good ideas. One was individual meatloafs, comfort food "classed" up is a good idea for "impression" meals, imo. Take your meatloaf and put in muffin tins instead of whole pan. If you need a good meatloaf recipe I have a great one, send me a message.

  • Roast.. it's easy and you can start it in the morning. cut up potatoes and carrots (few onion n celery if desired) place at bottom of crock pot. Get a beef roast, pound it (optional) with meat tenderizer and season with garlic powder, kosher salt, thyme, pepper, etc. place roast on top of veggies. Then take 1 can of tomatoe soup and 1 1/2 cups water (add more if needed) and mix together, pour ontop of roast n veggies. Turn crock pot on low for 8-10hrs or on high for 3-4hrs. Once you serve, pull out roast, let sit for 5 mins before you cut, and put veggies in a bowl, you can put the remaining juice in a gravy boat to pour ontop of roast.

  • take out food. Pack a picnic. Just vomit on her shoes when she gets there. ;)'

Well, they have a great selection at the supermarket of take and bake stuff and a lot is microwavable.

Get the kitchen to look a littl messy like you slaved all day and whoala! you have a nice dinner. Don't forget the dessert.

I don't like most of my relatives, so I don't have this problem. But I did once. And that's why I stopped having them over for dinner. Too much of a headache. EAting out is easier if you absolutely have to spend time with them.
