How long does implantation bleeding last?

From my experience its usually just spotting and can last from one to two weeks.

1-2 WEEKS!? No no no no noooooo. 1 toilet paper swipe and its gOne. I don't know what that girl is talking about, but if you're I.B. lasts 1-2 weeks then something is seriously wrong....

The spotting is so light, it doesn't even make it into your underwear. Like the previous post said, one wipe and it's GONE. A tiny egg implanting into the uterus does not cause any heavier bleeding than a spot or two.

hi, i didnt have any implantation bleeding.. i was waiting on halloween night for my period to come, and it didnt come..and then november 5th, i felt sick, i was told i couldnt get pregnant, or would need serious ferility help. Anyhow, my cure to get my period going was to take a PT, boy to my shock and glee, it was positive. I never suspected a thing... everyone is different, so if you dont spot, it doesnt mean your not pregnant. My son is now 8 weeks old... and super cute... but all babies are, they are just little miracles..

i only had a little blood when i wiped i put a pad on thinking i was starting my period and the next morning when i went to the bathroom my pad was dry

its very tiny if any at all like other people are saying. I've had 6 babies & only had implantation bleeding one time.

Hi, don't let some of the answers frustrate you. I know some women who have had implantation bleeding that lasted between 6 and 9 days..and it was just spotting. It varies for every woman. The first respondant said FROM HER EXPERIENCE which means she actually experienced it for 1 to 2 weeks and WAS, in fact, PREGNANT. Just as well, some women DO experience heavier implantation bleeding (although never like a normal period). But if a woman can have pregnancy bleeding(which most women mistake for "having your period during pregnancy) than a woman can have a heavy I.B.. I hope by this time you've already gone to the doctor and figured out what was going on with your body! Many blessings to you!

there is nothing wrong with bleeding during pregnancy because not everyone pregnancy experience i the same. I went to the hospital becuase i was bleeding and the told me there was nothing wrong with me or the baby and it could just be that I needed to rest more.

I only spotted for 2 days & it was very light it didnt even get on my underwear just the toilet paper.
